Celebrating 40 Years of Wishes
Make-A-Wish Wisconsin is excited to be celebrating its 40th birthday this year. There are a lot of opportunities to be a part of the celebration and to continue helping grant wishes for kids battling critical illnesses. In fact, we are budgeted to grant 405 wishes this year, more wishes than we’ve ever granted before. Learn how you can be a part of the excitement below.
Patti Gorsky’s 25th Anniversary
On May 17, we are celebrating our President & CEO, Patti Gorsky’s 25th anniversary with Make-A-Wish Wisconsin. You can be part of this celebration by making a donation in Patti’s honor today. You can also leave a special message for Patti on a Kudo Board found by clicking here.

Wish 8,000
On February 24, 2024, Make-A-Wish Wisconsin granted its 8,000th wish to 18-year-old Lulu who’s living with an autoimmune disorder and wished to sing with an orchestra. We partnered with the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra (MYSO) to grant this very special wish. In front of hundreds of family, friends and supporters of MYSO and Make-A-Wish Wisconsin, Lulu gave a command performance and received a standing ovation from all who attended.

Wild Wishes 40th Birthday Party
Please join at the Wild Wishes 40th Birthday Party as we celebrate 40 years of wish granting for more than 8,000 kids battling critical illnesses, their families and our community. The event will take place on Sunday, June 23, 2024, 11am – 2pm plus additional time at the Milwaukee County Zoo.
Tickets are available at wish.org/wisconsin/wildwishes. Ticket prices include lunch, parking, entrance to the Zoo, a pass to a Zoo special attraction, a 40th Birthday Make-A-Wish commemorative t-shirt, entertainment and more.
