Six-year-old Sebastian, known to his family and friends as Sebby, he knew exactly what he wanted to Wish for: an adventure to Walt Disney World and Universal Studios, where all his favorite stories could come to life.
Sebby’s journey began in Proctor, Vermont, as he and his family packed up for a trip filled with first-time experiences. Their first stop: Albany International Airport. This was Sebby’s very first time flying; he handled it like a seasoned traveler. But once in Orlando, Florida, the magic truly began.
Sebby and his family stayed at Give Kids the World Village, a whimsical resort designed especially for Wish Kids and their families. Sebby wasted no time diving into the fun — from swimming in the pool to visiting the ice cream shop and making new friends, he embraced every moment. “Sebastian loved life from the moment we got on the road,” Sebby’s mom shared.
Sebby’s favorite theme park was Magic Kingdom, where enchantment was around every corner. During his Wish, he had the chance to meet some of his favorite characters, including Daisy Duck and Captain America. One of the most memorable highlights? A pony ride that made Sebby feel like he was part of the magic himself.
While exploring SeaWorld, Sebby had a funny first-time experience when a splash from the whale show gave him a taste of salt water. “Seb had never been to the ocean,” his mom said. “So, when he tasted the salt water, he was completely thrown off. It was hilarious!”
Looking back on the trip, his mom shared, “I cannot thank Make-A-Wish enough for this opportunity. We will remember this experience forever.”
