SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY — Make-A-Wish Vermont & Northeast New York announced today that Grammy Award winner Oteil Burbridge will perform at the second annual Whiskey, Wine & Wishes gala on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Saratoga Springs' historic Canfield Casino. Burbridge will join the 10 Most Wanted Band for a special performance during the prohibition-era themed evening.
"Having Oteil Burbridge perform at our gala is a gift to our community and our mission," said Jamie Hathaway, President and CEO of Make-A-Wish Vermont & Northeast New York. "His artistry and passion for bringing people together through music reflects what we hope to achieve: creating moments that transform lives."
Burbridge is a two-time Grammy Award winner who received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012 for his 17-year tenure as the longest-running bassist in Allman Brothers Band history. He is a founding member of Dead & Company alongside Bob Weir, Mickey Hart, and John Mayer, and co-founded the Grammy-winning Tedeschi Trucks Band. Over his three-decade career, he has performed with legends including Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana, and Buddy Guy, and Bass Player magazine ranked him among the 100 greatest bass players of all time.
The evening will feature premium wine and whiskey tastings, silent and live auctions, and an elegant three-course dinner at the Canfield Casino, a magnificent 1870 landmark in Congress Park. Following last year's sold-out inaugural event, which raised nearly $300,000 for wish-granting efforts, the chapter anticipates strong attendance from business and philanthropic leaders throughout Vermont and Northeast New York.
Individual tickets and sponsorships are now available. Tickets start at $400 for individuals, $700 for couples, and $1,200 for groups of four. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit wish.org/vtny/whiskey-wine-wishes-2026or contact Emily Malley at emalley@vtny.wish.org.
