Jack's Wish to be a Valet

Some wishes are inspired by places that make children feel supported, encouraged and at home.

8-year-old Jack, who lives with a neuromuscular disorder, received his dream wish to be a valet attendant at Memorial Hermann Sugar Land.

Inspired by his love of valet service and the hospital he knows so well, Jack spent the day welcoming visitors, helping guests and experiencing what it's like to work in a role he admires.

"I want to be a valet at my home hospital. I love valet and everyone at the hospital. When I get older, I want to work there," said Jack.

After helping valet cars, Jack got the surprise of a lifetime when the hospital handed him the keys to their helicopter!

The experience brought Jack's dream to life while spreading smiles throughout the hospital, creating moments of joy for patients, families, visitors and staff alike.
