After receiving her custom dress and having her photoshoot on November 15th, we could barely wait for her Quinceanera celebration on Saturday, November 19! At Genesis’ party, everything was, in a word, PERFECT. The Ballroom at Tanglewood provided a gorgeous venue, decorated in Genesis’ favorite color (pink!) and hundreds of flowers and balloons. Princess Genesis spent the evening surrounded by her family and countless partners from the community, including wish sponsor Ascend Performance Materials and Baldemar Rodriguez, who connected so many to the Make-A-Wish mission. The dance floor was hopping all night with a live mariachi band and Danz-Art Folklore, and Genesis made her grand entrance in the company of her Chambelanes (court of honor). Looking beautiful in her custom dress from Palacios Bridal, Genesis was the center of attention, and her favorite part was dancing with her family.

Genesis’ story is incredibly powerful, and it is especially appropriate that she shared her wish with the community the week before Thanksgiving. The #PowerofaWish is making it as special as possible for each wish kid, and this wish simply could not have happened without an entire community rallying around Genesis. Words cannot express how thankful we are for these organizations that brought such an amazing wish to life!
