Builders of Hope Committee 

In response, Make-A-Wish launched a construction and design industry initiative to bring together leaders and companies to provide expertise/knowledge, resources and monetary and in-kind support to fulfill our mission of granting life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses.

Immediately, some of the most prominent people and firms across our territory answered this call, and, today, the Builders of Hope Committee is flourishing.

Committee members, representing every step in the design and construction of these structures, serve on project teams, meeting monthly, to bring wishes to life on a pre-determined schedule. Participating members and companies see, firsthand, that they are giving back to the community in a meaningful way by providing local children with fun, safe, and accessible spaces to play in their own backyards.

Builders of Hope Impact: In just over one year, the members of the committee have completed over 16 wishes with several more currently in progress. The generosity of the Builders of Hope in donating their time, talent, and funds to Make-A-Wish has made a cumulative impact of more than $440,000.
