A Princess in the Making Allie’s Journey to the Most Magical Place on Earth
HOUSTON, TX (July 17, 2025) – Make-A-Wish® Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana, in partnership with NOV, is proud to announce a joyful wish celebration for six-year-old Allie, a bright and kindhearted child who is courageously battling leukemia. Allie is your typical girly-girl — she loves singing Disney classics, twirling in sparkly dresses, and dancing like she’s the star of her own enchanted ball. Her biggest wish is to visit Disney World, where she hopes to meet her favorite princesses and step into a world of castles and pixie dust. Even more magical? Just two days after returning from her trip, she’ll be celebrating her 7th birthday — a milestone that makes this wish even more unforgettable. Make-A-Wish is thrilled to celebrate with NOV to send Allie off in style at one of her favorite places, the Houston Museum of Natural Science.
“We believe in the power of community and the importance of bringing joy to families when they need it most,” said Allison Hablinski, VP of Marketing at NOV. “Supporting Allie’s wish is a true honor for us — her strength, imagination, and joy inspire all of us. We’re proud to partner with Make-A-Wish to help make her dreams come true and create magical memories that will last a lifetime.”
Allie’s Disney-themed send-off party will be held on Thursday, July 17, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Houston Museum of Natural Science, 5555 Hermann Park Dr, Houston, TX 77030. The celebration will be held in the Morian Overlook on the second floor. Guests are encouraged to arrive by 10:30 a.m. to join in the excitement and help make the day extra special for Allie and her family. This sendoff is part of Make-A-Wish’s Summer of Wishes campaign — a season dedicated to granting life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. The local chapter is working to fulfill 650 wishes by September 1, with many of those wishes coming to life during the summer months.
Allie’s magical journey to Disney World is set to begin later this summer, and she’s been counting down the days with excitement. From meeting her favorite characters to stepping into the world of princesses and castles, Allie’s wish promises to be a dream come true. For her, this trip represents a chance to escape the daily challenges of her illness and embrace the wonder and joy of simply being a kid. More than just a vacation, Allie’s wish is a celebration of courage, strength, and hope — not only for her but for her entire family, who will share in this unforgettable experience together.
