After hearing his Mount Rushmore wish was going to be granted, Nate was over the moon and so happy to have something to look forward to. When the day finally came to hit the road, Nate celebrated by having a send-off party at Hideaway Pizza, then he and his family set off on their road trip in an RV.

Throughout his South Dakota wish trip, Nate and his family got to see and do so many awesome things! One of Nate’s favorite activities was having a guide give him and his family the full Mount Rushmore experience! He also got to experience the national park wildlife and explore the fantastic scenery. While there, Nate also earned multiple ranger patches and is excited to continue visiting parks with his family and earn more patches.

When asked about his trip, Nate answered that it exceeded his expectations and is a memory that will last a lifetime.
