This World Wish Month, we're inviting WishMakers like YOU to help us expand our community. Wishes are possible because of volunteers, donors, corporate partners, medical professionals, advocates, and every form of WishMaker throughout our community. Last year we granted over 1,000 wishes with the help of countless WishMakers across Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana and we need your support to grant the wish of every eligible child.
Invite your friends, family, coworkers, and community members to join the Make-A-Wish community and help grant wishes for kids with critical illnesses like Seven!

Wish kid Seven was diagnosed with end-stage kidney failure at age 8. “There were times when she couldn’t walk. She couldn’t eat. She couldn’t go to school,” said Seven’s mom, Natalie. Despite facing such hardship, Seven never lost her passion for her favorite hobby: cooking.
Thanks to caring WishMakers like you, Seven’s heartfelt wish to be a chef was granted. On her wish day, Seven’s friends, peers and classmates lined the streets, and her compassionate WishMakers set her up to cook her favorites – burgers, tacos and pizza – for everyone in town. Seven and her family will always draw hope from the love they felt from the many people who rallied together to give Seven the finest chef experience.
My wish replaced the bad memories and made me feel like the bad stuff didn’t happen. The WishMakers cared about me.
