(Columbus, OH) February 21st, 2020 – The Make-A-Wish^® Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana (Make-A-Wish OKI) 2020 Central Ohio BIG Wish Gala presented by Discover on Saturday, February 29th at the Columbus Athenaeum, celebrates our most requested wish, to experience a Walt Disney Company-related destination. We’re taking guests on a journey back to their childhood to see the pure joy and transformative power each wish child experiences. Disney-related wishes account for about 400 wishes each year in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.

More than a dozen wish kids will be honored at this year’s gala, including 18-year-old Harley from Grove City who wished to go to Paris Fashion Week. Harley will share her wish story and serve as co-emcee of the event with 10TV’s Yolanda Harris. 12-year-old Jack from Powell, who wished to go to the Walt Disney World® Resort and battle Darth Vader, will also be honored and his family will share their wish experience. You won’t want to miss a special Star Wars experience involving Jack during the gala around 7:55 p.m. Wish kid Madeline, who wished to go to the Walt Disney World® Resort, closes out the evening with a special performance.

This year's gala also celebrates a Make-A-Wish milestone-our 40th anniversary and granting more than 330,000 wishes nationwide. Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana just celebrated granting 17,000 of those wishes.

You're invited to experience the BIG Wish Gala.
