Corporate partners WA Smith impact report banner fy23
Is your company looking to make a transformational impact in your community?

Every year, dozens of corporate partners choose to support Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana, and tell us they get as much back as they give.

When you partner with Make-A-Wish, you stand with one of the world’s most loved and trusted nonprofits. By becoming a corporate supporter, your organization can align with a reputable and globally recognized charity and directly shape the positive change you wish to see in your community. We’re grateful to corporate partners like W.A. Smith and MISO, who are committed to doing good.

MISO is an independent, not-for-profit, member-based organization focused on managing the flow of high-voltage electricity across its region, facilitating one of the world's largest energy markets, and planning the grid of the future. Since 2007, MISO’s generous employees in central Indiana have raised $1.85M+ through their employee payroll deduction program, enough to grant more than 185 wishes for local children with critical illnesses. We are proud to have inducted MISO into our most prestigious Hope Stout Society of Giving and are thankful for MISO and its employees ongoing support. Our community is a better place because of them!

W.A. Smith Financial Group is another company that continues to make a difference for children and families in northeast Ohio. In 2017, W.A. Smith began supporting the Make-A-Wish mission and has raised more than $680k to date.

“While most all charitable organizations do meaningful things, we immediately saw the impact that we could make for the Make-A-Wish kids and their families. The decision to support Make-A-Wish as our exclusive charitable partner was born out of a passionate desire to help kids in need that not only our entire teams shares, but our client base and our fundraiser supporters share, too.”

–W.A. Smith Financial Group

Over the years, W.A. Smith has supported Make-A-Wish through various events, including golf outings and having a walk team at Make-A-Wish Walk For Wishes. It now hosts an annual signature event that raised $250k last year! The inspiring charity raffle and dinner features mission moments, testimonials from employees impacted by Make-A-Wish, raffles, a live auction, and more. At this year’s August 15th “Wish Upon A Star: A Night of Hope & Wishes” event, they hope to raise a record amount for Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana and reach $1M in total fundraising, an incredible milestone. We look forward to welcoming W.A. Smith into the Hope Stout Society and thank them for being wish heroes to local children and families.
