REAL ID
As of Dec. 5, 2022, the Department of Homeland Security has extended the federal deadline for all domestic air travelers over the age of 18 to obtain a REAL ID complaint driver’s license or ID to May 7, 2025. After this date, federal agencies, like TSA, are prohibited from accepting licenses or ID cards that are not REAL ID compliant. Learn more about REAL ID here.
