On April 29, 1980, 7-year-old Chris Greicius wished to be a police officer for a day. His wish inspired the founding of Make-A-Wish® and a global movement of hope. This April 29th, we’re honored to have Chris’ mother, Linda, join us in person at the JP Morgan Chase Make-A-Wish Central Indiana Hope is Essential Gala Presented by FedEx and R&M Electric. Linda will share her story about how Make-A-Wish began, with only a dream and some pocket change, in a fireside chat-style conversation with Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana President and CEO Stephanie McCormick and Governing Board Chair, David Payne. It will be an unforgettable evening.
It's been more than 30 years since my son Chris received his wish, and I am still amazed and inspired how one little boy's dream to be a policeman has touched the lives of so many.
