Make-A-Wish® Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana (Make-A-Wish OKI) is pleased to welcome Armando Lanuti, President of Creative Works and current Make-A-Wish Indiana Advisory Board member, to the Make-A-Wish OKI Governing Board. Lanuti and his team at Creative Works are longtime wish supporters who fundraise to make more wishes come true and use their unique talents to help create incredible wish experiences. This year, Armando and Creative Works designed larger-than-life and interactive décor to help make the annual Make-A-Wish Indiana Hope is Essential Gala an unforgettable event.
“In a short amount of time, Armando has made a huge impact on the Indiana Advisory Board,” said Sr. Market Director of Advancement, Amy Nelson. “He strongly believes in the power of creating memories. As a Governing Board Member, he will be able to make an even bigger impact on the lives of local kids going through their darkest days by helping them create precious memories with their families to last a lifetime.”
“We have worked with Make-A-Wish for the last several years, granting wishes through donations and fundraisers,” said Armando. “Their mission is in almost perfect alignment with that of Creative Works, where our goal is to provide powerful emotions and memories for everyone in the world. Having the chance to provide such moments for those in need through Make-A-Wish is nothing short of amazing. This year, we have started to get more directly involved, with our team using their unique artistic talents and craftsmanship to help facilitate room makeovers and décor for fundraising events, while I have joined the board in hopes to provide a unique perspective from an experiential entertainment company.”
Armando is the recipient of the 2021 Joy Award, given to a board member who serves with joy, and brings immense joy to the children and families we serve. He is a self-proclaimed, “huge technology geek,” and an avid consumer of audiobooks.
