Darian, an energetic three-year-old full of playful spirit from Orange County, serves as the light in the lives of his family and friends. Darian was diagnosed with a genetic disorder that destroys nerve cells in his brain and spinal cord, but he continues to live each day with a positive attitude. When asked what his wish would be, his heart and mind immediately led him towards puppies. Growing up as an animal lover, Darian could only imagine how much a puppy would contribute to his overall happiness on a day-to-day basis. From here, Make-A-Wish Orange County and the Inland Empire took it upon themselves to make the wish of a young animal lover come true.
Darian made the decision that he would like a trained Goldendoodle named Frank. The day Darian’s Goldendoodle came running home into his arms, was a day he’ll never forget. Being able to witness the happiness on Darian’s face served as a special moment to his family. Ever since Darian and his family have received their new addition, they have loved the new energy that has come with having a dog in their home. Now, Darian has a buddy to start every day with and end every night with. As of recently, Darian’s mother can see how excited he is and how much he looks forward to taking on the new challenges of each day with his furry friend by his side. With his family serving as a strong support system and his puppy providing him an overload of love day in and day out, Darian has been able to build his strength and faith against his genetic disorder.
