Michael's wish to have flying lessons

Michael is an adventurous young man who enjoys the outdoors. His favorite hobbies include snowboarding and mountain biking as he loves the adrenaline rush. Unfortunately, Michael’s days spent flying high in the mountains descended into time enveloped by white walls when he was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

Michael and his family were devastated until a shooting star appeared one night, deeming him eligible for a wish from Make-A-Wish! When asked by Make-A-Wish volunteers what his most heartfelt wish would be, he shared he hoped to one day join the U.S. Army and become a pilot. He has always been very passionate about joining the Army as he comes from a bloodline of family members who have served.

Despite enduring numerous treatments over the past few years, Michael took on the New Year with new heights. His future career started to take flight with his wish to have flying lessons. During his wish, he got to experience 27 hours of flight training which took him through an extensive course of learning the ins and outs of flying. Michael was above and beyond the heights of any mountain, relishing every second spent in the air.

Michael and his family are extremely thankful to AIRLINX Aircraft Services, Inc. for making his wish become a reality and for allowing him the opportunity to take his first steps for his future career. He will cherish this moment forever.
