April is World Wish Month — a time to honor the first wish, celebrate our community of WishMakers, and invite others to join our mission to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.

Across our chapter this month, we have a lot of exciting activities and events. Join us!

• Did you know that more than 70% of our wishes are travel wishes? With summer being a busy time for those travel wishes, we need your help. The best way to support those travel wishes right now is by making a financial gift. Help us fund 35 travel wishes this April! Thanks to a $25k matching gift from Hey Buddy Hey Pal, your donation will go twice as far. Donate here. 
• Shop participating Buff City Soap locations this month for fun ways to support Make-A-Wish. A portion of sales of their Make-A-Wish-themed Soap Bar all month long and 15% of all sales April 25–27 will be donated back to Make-A-Wish.

• Cheer on the Texas Rangers and wish kids on Saturday, April 5, where proceeds from the 50/50 raffle during the game will go to Make-A-Wish North Texas. Get tickets to the game here. 
• Do you work in the oil field industry? Fish with us at the 30th anniversary Permian Basin Oilman's Bass Invitational April 10–12. Register here. 
• West Texas Wish Celebration: If you’re near Baird, TX, on Friday, April 18, help us celebrate three brothers receiving their wish! Join us at 11:30am at 1540 Interstate 20 W, Baird, TX 79504-2546. 
• Join us for a day of family fun activities and Easter Eggstravaganza on Saturday, April 19, at the Omni PGA in Frisco and celebrate a special wish kid who will learn their wish is coming true. Get tickets here. 
• Visit your local Kendra Scott on Saturday, April 26, from 12pm–4pm local time where 20% of all sales in-store will be donated to Make-A-Wish. Find your local store here.
• We need volunteer wish granters in West Texas! Join us for in-person wish granting training on Saturday, April 26, at Midland College. Register here.
• Walk or run at the 7th annual Walk for Wishes as we celebrate the milestone 1,000th wish granted in El Paso! Register here.
