We’re excited to shine the spotlight on Kaci Dobbs, one of our amazing volunteers at Make-A-Wish North Texas. Kaci’s passion for making a difference shines through in every wish she helps grant. Her admiration of Make-A-Wish’s impactful work pushed her to jump at the chance to start granting wishes just a few months ago!

Kaci remembers her first wish-granting experience, a special shopping spree for a seven-year-old girl, where the community rallied together to make the day even more magical by donating toys, clothes, and shoes. “Seeing the joy on her face was absolutely priceless,” Kaci recalls.

When asked what she enjoys most about wish granting, Kaci said, “Nothing will ever beat the pure joy on the wish children’s face as they talk about their wish being granted.”

Kaci wishes that more people knew about how many opportunities there are for them to help. She believes that not only do the wish families benefit from the wish experience, but all those who are involved because “it is a truly rewarding experience.”

When she’s not volunteering, Kaci loves spending time with her boyfriend and their adorable dogs—a Doberman and a Frenchie. She also enjoys staying active with yoga, Pilates, and kickboxing.

Kaci’s dedication and enthusiasm are truly inspiring. We’re so grateful to have her as part of our Make-A-Wish family!
