Jamie Hathaway, Interim President & CEO of Make-A-Wish Northeast New York
Over the weekend, Make-A-Wish Northeast New York announced the appointment of Jamie Hathaway as Interim President and CEO of their chapter, effective immediately. Hathaway, who has led Make-A-Wish Vermont since 2015, brings a wealth of experience and leadership in the nonprofit sector, and is committed to the organization's mission to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses in the region.
For decades, Make-A-Wish Vermont and Northeast New York have worked side-by-side, granting wishes in the region, often partnering on wishes and sharing resources.
"I am honored to step into the role of Interim President and CEO of Make-A-Wish Northeast New York," said Hathaway. "My predecessor, Bill Trigg, has established a healthy foundation for this organization, and I am excited to build on his legacy and explore how our chapters can best work together to be more efficient so we can grant more wishes to children in the region.”
“Our Board is excited for Jamie to lead our organization as we chart our long-term strategy to deliver a life-changing wish to every eligible child in our region,” said David Druzynski, Chair of Make-A-Wish Northeast New York. “We thank Bill for his compassionate dedication to our mission and for the thousands of lives he forever changed during his tenure here. I look forward to Jamie’s new leadership and the creativity and passion he has become well known for throughout Make-A-Wish.”
