Walk for Wishes is back! Our 2023 Walk for Wishes returns to the calendar on Saturday, April 29, World Wish Day!
Walk for Wishes® is a nationwide Make-A-Wish fundraiser that supports granting life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. It’s a family-friendly event powered by wish families, volunteers, companies and individual donors. Both long-time wish granters, the Los Angeles Rams and the LA Lakers are generous supporters of Make-A-Wish Greater LA and are sponsoring this community event. For community members who would like to attend or start a Walk team and fundraise for wish kids, you can register online or on the day-of!
By joining Walk for Wishes in LA, our local community is ensuring that no child in LA County waits even one unnecessary day to experience the hope and joy that a wish brings. The event will feature wish kid ambassadors, family-friendly activations, music, food, and more.

As a chapter, Make-A-Wish Greater LA is committed to maintaining a healthy and safe environment for our community. The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health and California Department of Public Health strongly recommends mask-wearing in crowded settings and encourage those who are eligible to get vaccinated to prevent the spread of COVID-19. As our wish children are a more vulnerable population, many of whom are immunocompromised, we ask you to take a cautious approach in social distancing and using your discretion in safely interacting at the event.
