Being in the hospital can be tough. Treatments and surgeries can be exhausting, even traumatic, which can lead to feelings of isolation, frustration, and loneliness.Â
Being sick, Chloe understood this all too well. After being diagnosed with lymphoma, she couldn't play sports and got fatigued easily. During long stays in the hospital, she realized she could still create incredible things with her hands and began creating one-of-a-kind pieces, things like hats, gloves, and blankets for her family and friends.
When it came time to choose a wish, she wanted to help kids like her find the same escape. She chose the selfless wish to give crochet kits to her local children's hospital. After putting the kits together with family and friends, she delivered them to her children's hospital, and hopes kids and parents alike, find as much joy in knitting as she does!
