Thomas’ day started off with a warm welcome from the Pelicans' team and staff at the Smoothie King Center where he then sat in on the team’s closed practice. Up next was the experience he was most looking forward to--shooting hoops with Zion Williamson! Zion also presented Thomas with some Pelicans gear, a fresh pair of his signature Nike basketball shoes and a signed jersey! Later, he sat courtside at the team’s open practice and watched a press conference held by some of the rookie players. What an unforgettable weekend for Thomas and his family!
