Award-winning international fashion designer, Ugochi Iwuaba, is hosting the 4th Annual Fashion Show and Charity Gala 'Eko Night' on October 8, 2022, at the Morgan Run Club & Resort. Cocktail hour will begin at 4:30 PM, followed by a high couture runway fashion show, and closed with a charity auction with talented musical performances throughout.

Over the past three years, Ugochi Iwuaba has sold out her local San Diego shows by delivering elegant, well-tailored luxury fashion similar to internationally renowned New York Fashion Week, London Fashion Week, The MET Gala, and high fashion shows all throughout the world.

This year's themed show 'EKO NIGHT' means a night in Lagos, Nigeria. Nigerian parties are known for their larger-than-life glam, great food, wonderful music, and colorful vibrant culture. The runway will mimic a traditional Nigerian wedding and create a customary guest experience.

Get ready for the cultural party of a lifetime with live music, light food, and vibrant ethnic attires. Guests should come dressed for a full paparazzi red carpet event! Ugochi Iwuaba's dream is to showcase the essence of her culture which heavily influences her designs on the runway this year. She has never done anything like this, and promises an unforgettable experience!

She will close the evening with a charity auction including some of her designs to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation® San Diego. Ugochi Iwuaba's son has Down Syndrome and she started her business shortly after he was born. She wasn't sure if she would ever return to a corporate job anticipating the capacity her son would need her. Consequently, she started her fashion business to afford a more flexible lifestyle for her son's care so there would be no Ugochi Iwuaba brand without her son!
