On April 14th, Make-A-Wish Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana granted Lorenzo’s wish for tuition assistance at the University of Houston. To celebrate his wish, Lorenzo got to throw the opening pitch at the Houston Cougar Baseball game! Now enjoying his time at UH, Lorenzo is majoring in English in preparation for a future as a teacher and author. He hopes to share his story, so that other kids facing a similar battle know they are not alone. Special thanks to Don Sanders and the University of Houston for making Lorenzo’s wish extra special!
