Tytan is an active, fun and sporty 11-year-old boy. He loves playing football, beating his friends in video games and getting outside as often as possible. Sometimes, Tytan is forced to take a break because of his autoimmune disorder, which can can give him rashes on his skin and make his muscles feel weak, but he doesn’t let those things keep him down for long!
Tytan was referred to Make-A-Wish by his mom because she wanted him to find joy and hope again. When he found out his wish was going to be granted, he was so excited! Tytan’s original wish plans were disrupted by the pandemic, so he decided to shift gears and focus on a wish that could bring him joy as he spent more time at home. Since Tytan loves spending time outside and playing golf, he wished for his very own golf cart! He drew up big plans for the golf cart—it had to have big wheels, a lift kit and other fun accessories. Plus, he wanted it to be his favorite color—Make-A-Wish blue!
On the day of his wish, when he first laid eyes on his new golf cart, the tears started flowing. It was better than he ever could have imagined, and he was so grateful. The shiny, new golf cart was all his, and it brought him so much joy from the moment he hopped into the driver’s seat.
Tytan’s parents loved seeing his bright smile and laughter as he drove the golf cart around.
“It was an absolutely perfect day! We have gone on golf cart rides every night and he’s gotten to play golf using his very own golf cart! He has been on cloud nine since! I will never be able to thank you enough! Make-A-Wish granted his wish, but also granted mine. I just wanted him to have something to smile about, and you have given him just that!” said his mom Kerri.
