Great American Title, Inc.

Local agency has donated monthly for more than 15 years

The Great American Title Agency has been giving monthly since 2004 and raised more than $23,000 for Make-A-Wish Arizona through the help of buyers and sellers.

Giving is promoted through its GAT Cares Outreach Program, where Great American Title Agency, Inc. donates a portion of its basic escrow fee collected at closing.

“Great American has been here in the Valley since 1998, and it’s both appropriate and feels good to support local nonprofits in our community,” said Chief Executive Officer Bruce Beverly.

“Make-A-Wish has a proven record of delivering on its promises so our goal is to give every month because the need for wishes is there all 12 months of the year.”

With more than 120 employees and branches throughout the Valley, Bruce says this past year’s surge in real estate and refinances generated increased closings and increased donations. Great American hopes to be able to contribute even more in the future.

“It’s hard to forecast what we’re going to donate because it’s based on the individuals we work with, but historically people want to give back to help make a difference,” he said.

Bruce says hearing about the wishes the agency supports is emotionally rewarding but he also believes that giving back to the community is part of Great American’s civic and moral culture and responsibility.

“Personally, I have been very blessed and I want to do what I can to help others,” he continued. “At the corporate level, we have an opportunity to share our success. We know that each wish requires financial support and personal commitment. By offering that support and commitment to our local Make-A-Wish chapter, we extend our arms to comfort those in need and help make their wishes come true.”
