For Kylie, 13, everything changed when she was diagnosed with cancer.

She went from playing volleyball, participating in track and spending lots of time outside to enduring 57 days in the hospital and, because of the pandemic, she felt more isolated than ever.

Kylie's wish for a backyard oasis gave her hope and a special place to relax and spend quality time with her family.

"My wish will help me to know that I have a nice, safe place outside ... to look at the clouds and maybe the stars at night."

Thanks to you, Kylie’s wish became a reality.

Kylie's wish didn’t just transform her backyard – it transformed her life.

"Make-A-Wish has been a source of hope and excitement for me," she continued. "I've been blessed with an amazing family so being out here and able to spend time with the people you love makes it even better."

Kylie's backyard was turned into a beautiful oasis complete with a fire pit for roasting marshmallows, a waterfall, a new swing and a place for her whole family to play games together!
