The Development Intern is responsible for assisting with the administration of Make-A-Wish internal fundraising events. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference in our community while gaining valuable work experience in an exciting office environment!
- Event logistics and assisting with all aspects related to internal events, including but not limited to: soliciting items for Wish Ball auction, organizing and managing silent auction, event sponsorship, calling companies for in-kind donations for auction, and event follow-up.
- Writing and sending personalized thank you-notes and aiding in various stewardship initiatives
- Data base entry and cleanup
- Strong people, organizational, written and oral communications skills.
- Great attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- To be a team player and passionate about the mission of Make-A-Wish.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
