A year ago, Noah Zierfus was diagnosed with cancer. When he learned he was getting a wish, he showed his kindness by choosing to focus on his community and asked that his hometown basketball court be resurfaced.
Noah grew up playing on any and every court he was near and he wants future generations to experience the joy of basketball as much as he has, and hopes always to be able to.
Community rallies to make a generous wish come true
Resurfacing the court is more than three times the cost of a typical wish, but when the community heard about Noah’s kind intentions, they sprang into action. Led by the folks of One Credit Union, more than a dozen local businesses have already donated to help grant this special wish, and their messages of encouragement are included in the video below.
