Gabriel, a 17-year-old boy from Riverside County, is fighting against Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Gabriel is fun-loving, adventurous, and always knows how to bring a lively energy to the table. From a young age, he’s enjoyed exciting activities such as hockey, video games, and anything involving RC cars. Gabriel is known to be the adventurous one of the family and still continues to hold this title. He enjoys being able to live life on the fun side and his family admires how positive and strong he has remained through it all.

When asked what his wish would be, Gabriel’s mind immediately went towards owning his very own gaming computer. Considering how much Gabriel enjoys being able to have his gamer moments, he feels as if having the right equipment will allow him to embrace this side more. Leading up to the granting of his wish, he thought about all the games he was going to play, the friends he was going to play with online, and the new high scores he was about to set. There was no better feeling than Gabriel seeing his brand-new gaming computer on the day of his wish. His eyes lit up with so much joy and his smile grew from ear to ear. Being able to share this moment with his family meant the world to Gabriel and left a special place in his family’s heart. Since then, Gabriel has enjoyed being able to live out his gamer dreams and his family can’t help but smile when seeing how joyous and happy Gabriel is. This wish not only gave Gabriel something new to look forward to each and every day, but it has also strengthened his courage to continue on his battle.
