He loves Disney, climbing, running and going to the playground to slide and swing. However, Daniel has a respiratory disorder. This means that restless Daniel would often get stuck indoors during wildfire season, allergy season or during the winter inversions that are very common in the Treasure Valley. It wasn’t very fun for Daniel to be inside all the time.
Daniel knew that he wanted to have some sort of enclosed space where he could play while breathing air that was clean and safe. Daniel wished for a clubhouse, so he could be active indoors no matter what was happening outdoors.
This was a tall order and somewhat out of the ordinary. Luckily, the construction company Sherburne-Marrs, who had helped with construction-related wishes before, heard about Daniel’s wish and took charge.
They built him an elaborate clubhouse with a slide, a climbing wall and a therapy swing and even hired a local artist to paint pictures of Daniel’s favorite Disney characters on the walls. Best of all, the clubhouse was equipped with air purifiers, so Daniel will always have clean, healthy air to breathe whenever he plays.
When Daniel saw the finished building for the first time, he ran full speed across his yard towards it. He opened the doors, climbed up the climbing wall and then slid down the slide. Daniel and his family can now breathe easy whenever he’s in that wonderful clubhouse.
