Internships

Make-A-Wish North Texas offers college students (freshman to senior) and recent college graduates the opportunity to gain real-world experience in a challenging yet fun and rewarding work environment. Our chapter works with students and recent alumni who are willing to dedicate at least 15 hours per week and learn about the Make-A-Wish mission, brand, and operations of a high-performing organization. Interns gain a variety of skills throughout the program, including technical proficiency, networking, and relationship management through weekly projects and monthly workshops hosted by local volunteers in top industries. Our unpaid internships run in the fall, spring, and summer.

Fall 2025 internship applications are open! Apply by August 28.

To apply, please submit a cover letter noting desired role, resume, and any other details as required per role to volunteer@ntx.wish.org.

"Interning at Make-A-Wish North Texas has been one of my best career decisions thus far. Surrounded by supportive co-workers, I have had the unique opportunity to explore my interests and connect my educational background to projects. Every week, I was able to support Make-A-Wish's mission in a different way, whether it be granting wishes, helping with data, or supporting the volunteer team. I am forever grateful for the skills I have learned and the experiences I have had while interning at Make-A-Wish North Texas."
