Transform your old car into a wish for a child in the greater Bay Area. Easy donation process, free towing, and tax benefits for CA residents. We are on a quest to bring every eligible child's wish to life, because a wish is an integral part of a child's treatment journey. Research shows children who have wishes granted build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight a critical illness. Founded in 1984, our chapter has fulfilled the wishes of more than 10,000 children throughout 17 Northern California counties, from Monterey County to the Oregon border. Your vehicle donation to Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area helps to make all of this possible.
- Go online or call 855-CAR-WISH (227-9474) to fill out the donation form. Provide us with some information about your vehicle and where it will be picked up.
- A towing agent will contact you within two to three business days to arrange a pick-up time most convenient for you.
- After your car is sold, you’ll receive an email that includes a tax receipt.
What vehicles can I donate?
We accept all types of running and non-functioning car donations. Trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, boats, snowmobiles, planes, heavy machinery, trailers and RV's are accepted on a case-by-case basis. If you have questions about a vehicle you’d like to donate, call us at 855-CAR-WISH (227-9474).
Do I need a title to donate my car to Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area?

What do I do with my title once I have it?
