About Our Keynote Speaker: Coach Dabo Swinney

An illustrious coaching heritage is embedded in the foundation of Clemson football. At the dawn of the 20th century, the Tigers were led by future College Football Hall of Famer John Heisman. Hall of Famers Jess Neely, Frank Howard and Danny Ford followed in Heisman’s winning tradition.

Now entering his 19th season (and 18th full season) as Clemson’s head coach, Dabo Swinney has already carved his name into that foundation, elevating himself amid a pantheon of Tiger greats as both the program’s all-time winningest coach and the first in history to lead Clemson to multiple national championships.

Swinney enters the 2026 campaign as the winningest coach in ACC history, as his 187 victories exceed the 173 wins College Football Hall of Famer Bobby Bowden accrued after Florida State joined the conference prior to the 1992 season. Swinney passed Bowden in 2024 by earning his 174th career win, a feat he accomplished on the field bearing Bowden’s name in Tallahassee.
