World Wish Month is a month-long campaign, full of community-powered celebration of hope, generosity, and life-changing impact. During the month of April, local businesses, partners, and supporters come together to become WishMakers, helping make more wishes possible for children facing critical illnesses.

A WishMaker is anyone who takes action for wish kids. There are so many easy and meaningful ways to become a WishMaker and get involved throughout the month:

• Support participating businesses that are giving back a portion of sales
• Make a direct donation to help grant a wish
• Attend local events and activations happening all month long
• Spread awareness by sharing stories and posts on social media

World Wish Month honors the first wish, granted in 1980 for Christopher Greicius, whose wish to be a police officer for a day sparked a life-changing mission. Every dollar raised during World Wish Month helps bring hope, strength, and joy to wish kids and their families right here in Alabama. From local shops to corporate partners to individual donors, every act of support plays a role in creating life-changing moments for wish kids!
