JJ’s wish to be a superhero marks the 11,000th wish fulfilled by Make-A-Wish® Massachusetts and Rhode Island, which grants life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.

The villain Triple Z was lulling residents to sleep with his evil lullabies so that he could take over Marblehead. Luckily, Super JJ, 4, and his sidekicks – brother Luke, 4, and sister Ellie, 18 months – were able to stop Triple Z using their superpowers on a series of missions throughout town.
"Marblehead is a little safer, a lot brighter - all because of Super JJ," said Marblehead Police Sergeant Tim Morley. And, March 29 has been proclaimed "Superhero Day for Super JJ" by the Town of Marblehead, as announced by Select Board member Jim Zisson at the press conference held after Super JJ's capture of Triple Z.

TRIPLE Z HAS BEEN SIGHTED IN MARBLEHEAD! While we don't yet have enough information to provide a full description, he is in purple and black and has wild purple hair. Please report any sightings to @makeawishmari (Instragram) or @massriwish (Facebook) or to info@massri.wish.org. We are working to identify a local hero who can save Marblehead!
In addition, digital sleuthing has helped us determine Triple Z's plan for March 29 and his timing.
- 10:00 a.m. He seems to be planning to be in the area of Pleasant and Washington Streets for a good part of the morning, especially in the vicinity of Marblehead Outfitters, Mud Puddle Toys, and Saltwater Books.
- Approximately 11:45 a.m. - Shubie's is next on his list
- Approximately 12:30 p.m. - Marblehead Light - We are sorry to confirm that Triple Z's final plan is to seize Marblehead Light to achieve his goal of sending all of Marblehead to early bedtime.
- Approximately 1:00 p.m. - We can't decipher his notes about this very well but Seaside Park seems to come into play around this time.

BREAKING NEWS, MARCH 27, 3:12 PM:
A video message from Triple Z confirms he has sent the entire town of Leominster, MA, to early bedtime and is indeed setting his sights on Marblehead as his next target town. Based on the pace of his verrrry slowww movements, we anticipate his arrival to Marblehead to be Sunday, March 29.

We're analyzing clues left behind by Triple Z and suspect he may be heading for the following Marblehead locations on Sunday morning:
