At just 2 years old, Jeremy was diagnosed with a rare brain cancer. In the midst of the fear and uncertainty of treatment, his wish to visit Disney World gave his family something joyful to hold onto.

Now 31, Jeremy is a physical therapist assistant and a dedicated Make-A-Wish Illinois volunteer. He even proposed to his fiancée — a Make-A-Wish staff member — at Over the Edge 2024.

From wish kid to WishMaker, Jeremy’s story is proof that one moment of joy can spark a lifetime of purpose.
