At just 14, Emily was facing a rare vascular disorder diagnosis that turned her world upside down. In 2013, her wish for a Mediterranean cruise was more than just a family vacation, it was the first opportunity for her and her family to experience true happiness after her diagnosis.

 “My wish had the power to help us find hope again.”

Now 26, Emily is a college graduate with degrees in Special Education and Early Childhood Education. Inspired by her wish experience, she became a teacher to help children dream big and believe in themselves.

Her message to future wish kids: “Hang in there, keep smiling, keep dreaming. Kind people are ready to show you how to never lose hope.”
