Despite the challenges she faces, Anniston has shown incredible strength, resilience, and compassion for others. A few years ago, she founded Saving Our Hearts, a nonprofit that has raised enough funds to provide AEDs for every high school and junior high in her community, while also teaching lifesaving CPR and AED skills.

Beyond her advocacy, Anniston is an adventurous spirit who loves mud riding, hunting, football, and spending time out on the water. At the heart of her wish was something that reflects her bold and adventurous side — a pink side-by-side ATV.

Anniston’s wish came true in September, when she received her very own side-by-side. Thanks to the kindness of wish alumni family Justin and Carrie Riles, in partnership with Polaris of Ruston, this special ATV was personally delivered and customized just for her. Justin’s son, Thomas, had his wish to meet Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson granted in 2024, and now the Riles family was able to pay it forward to help create an unforgettable moment for Anniston.

Her wish day was filled with joy, adventure, and heartfelt gratitude. Surrounded by her family, friends, and the community she’s already inspired through her advocacy, Anniston took the driver’s seat of her pink side-by-side — a symbol not only of her love for the outdoors, but also of the strength, hope, and resilience that define her journey.
