Join us on Sunday, August 24th at 8:00 am for the Annual Waffle Eating Contest between the Newport Beach Police Department, Fire Department, and Lifeguards!

TICKET INFORMATION

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased directly at Cappy’s and this will be directly donated to Make-A-Wish OCIE to help grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. With your ticket, you’ll be able to order anything on the menu, with the exception of steak and seafood. All firefighters and police officers will receive a free meal in appreciation of their service.

Your ticket includes access to watch the exciting waffle eating contest and hear from Newport Beach wish kid, Tristan!

MEET WISH KID, TRISTAN

Meet Tristan, a brave 8-year-old from Newport Beach who battled cancer and wished to swim with sharks. His wish came true in the Florida Keys, where he snorkeled with nurse sharks and explored marine life! Tristan will share how his wish brought hope and joy to his family during a difficult time—reminding us that while treatments aren’t a choice, a wish is something kids can control.
