“Giving back to our community was simply an expectation in our family,” says Brendon Integlia, who watched his father do so through his entrepreneurial journey and the establishment of the Integlia Family Foundation, which supports a range of causes in Rhode Island.
Brendon, who lives in Providence and is an investor with MIBIT Capital, has served on the Rhode Island Advisory Council for Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island since 2022. He also guides his family foundation’s role as a sponsor of many events, including the Evening of Wishes Gala, Wine & Wishes, and as presenting sponsor for Team Make-A-Wish in Rhode Races Providence.
Brendon (pictured in photo at far left, with his family) finds inspiration in the resilience of wish children and is passionate about raising awareness of the Wish Community alumni program, for which the Integlia Family Foundation is a lead sponsor. “One of the misconceptions I had was that Make-A-Wish granted wishes but had no ongoing involvement with wish families,” shares Brendon.
“I want more donors to understand the level of support Make-A-Wish provides to families after a wish is granted.” Brendon encourages others to attend Wish Community events to witness this support and the connection that these gatherings provide for alumni wish families. “It is a personal mission of mine to see this important initiative grow.”
