2nd Annual Wish Ball raises $1.8 million!
More than 650 guests gathered at The Post Oak Hotel on May 2 for Make-A-Wish Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana’s Wish Ball | The Hero Within. The gala raised a transformational $1.8 million to help grant life-changing wishes for children diagnosed with critical illnesses. The evening honored long-time leader Mandy S. Williams and corporate partner Enterprise Mobility for their incredible support of our local wish kids. Melissa Wilson of Fox 26 served as emcee, joined by her son and Wish Alum, Caleb, who shared how his wish gave him strength during leukemia treatment. Highlights included a surprise Batmobile arrival for Wish Kid Adonis, an energetic live auction, and over $500,000 raised during the appeal while helping grant Wish Kid Aria’s dream of planting 1,000 trees. The night ended with dancing, dazzling auctions, and heartfelt celebration.
