Jersey Mike’s donates over $1 Million to Make-A-Wish

Jersey Mike’s 15th Annual “Month of Giving”

Los Angeles, April 18, 2025 – Jersey Mike’s Subs raised over $1 million to grant wishes for local children in Southern California through its 15th Annual March Month of Givingcampaign in support of Make-A-Wish.

More than 150 Jersey Mike’s Subs locations in Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo counties participated in the 15th Annual March “Month of Giving” campaign to support local charities.

The Month of Giving campaign culminated with Jersey Mike’s “Day of Giving” on Wednesday, March 26, when local Jersey Mike’s restaurants gave 100 percent of the day’s sales – not just profit – to Make-A-Wish. Day of Giving is Jersey Mike’s busiest day of the year, with crews arriving as early as 4 a.m. to serve thousands of loyal customers eager to give back.

“We are extremely grateful for Jersey Mike’s partnership. The dedication and enthusiasm from the Jersey Mike’s owners, store managers, and employees made this Month and Day of Giving a tremendous success. This vital donation will help us grant wishes to the over 700 local children currently waiting for their most heartfelt wishes,” said Aparna Pande, CEO of Make-A-Wish Greater Los Angeles. Pattie Mullins, CEO of Make-A-Wish Central Coast and Southern Central Valley, added, “The community showed up to ‘Grab a Sub and Grant A Wish,’ raising over $186,000 to support wishes in Ventura, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo counties. We thank Jersey Mike’s and their customers for delivering hope and joy to so many children in our community.”

Since Month of Giving began in 2011, Jersey Mike’s has raised more than $143 million for local charities.

At Jersey Mike’s, we give to give,” said Angel Velazquez, Area Director for Jersey Mike’s. “Partnering with Make-A-Wish this year allowed us to make a real difference for children and families in our local neighborhoods. We’re grateful to our amazing customers for showing up and making this such an impactful Month and Day of Giving.”

“Together, we’re making a difference in people’s lives thanks to all of you,” said Peter Cancro, Jersey Mike’s Founder and CEO, who this year celebrates 50 years since he bought his first sub shop at age 17.
