This past Summer, Aria and her neighbors witnessed the devastating impact of destructive storms, which caused severe damage to homes, landscaping, and buildings. Inspired by her love for the big trees in her neighborhood and her recent lessons on the environment, Aria made a heartfelt wish to plant 1,000 trees. She believes that this significant number will make a lasting impact on the environment and help restore the beauty of her community.  

On April 12, Aria's wish came true when Make-A-Wish hosted a Tree-Giveaway for Aria, inviting community members, corporate partners, and Make-A-Wish supporters to come pick up a bundle of trees to plant at their own desired locations. It was a beautiful and inspiring day for all. Thank you to our community partner Trees for Houston, Barry Ward, and his wonderful team that supplied the trees at no cost. What a legacy our sweet Aria will have for generations to come!
