Geffen always had a love for baking, but when it came to his wish, it wasn’t cupcakes or cookies that filled his dreams — it was the beauty of Hawai’i. At 15, Geffen was ready for an adventure. 

Geffen’s Wish Journey started in Saratoga Springs, NY at the Dr. J. Peter McPartlon Wishing Space where he began Wish Discovery. The walls of the Wishing Space are filled with images of remarkable wish kids and their experiences. It was there that Geffen’s wish to go to the Aloha State took shape. 

When Geffen and his family landed in Hawai’i, they were greeted by warm air, lush landscapes, and the promise of incredible adventures ahead. The first few days were spent exploring the island, soaking in the beauty of the beaches, and the ocean. It was the perfect way to kick off Geffen’s Hawaiian Wish. 

The excitement began when they boarded a snorkel boat for an unforgettable experience in the crystal-clear waters of the Pacific Ocean. Geffen and his family snorkeled over vibrant coral reefs, and they even spotted a family of dolphins. 

But the fun didn’t stop there! Geffen’s Wish also included a thrilling day of parasailing, soaring high above the turquoise waters. Throughout their time on the island, Geffen and his family enjoyed everything Hawai’i had to offer. They drank from coconuts, relaxed on sandy beaches, and, of course, indulged in delicious local treats. He even got the chance to try traditional Hawaiian shave ice, satisfying his love for baking while also embracing the tropical flavors of the island. 

Geffen’s Hawaiian adventure was a dream come true; one filled with new experiences, breathtaking views, and unforgettable memories.
