About Our Featured Comedians

Emily Catalano

Emily Catalano is a Los Angeles-based comedian who made her late-night stand-up debut on CONAN and has gained recognition through viral clips on social media. Known for her slow pace and dry humor, Emily’s talent for crafting jokes out of everyday situations has received attention from Time Out LA, who named her a "Comic to Watch." Vulture praised Emily’s punchlines, saying, “They hit especially hard because they surprise you twice.”

Janesh Rahlan

Janesh Rahlan is a stand-up comedian, actor and writer artist based in Los Angeles. He’s performed at clubs such as the San Francisco Punch Line, Chicago Laugh Factory, and The Comedy Store. He’s opened for Kumail Nanjiani, Jeff Ross, Cedric the Entertainer, Langston Kerman, and Jordan Klepper. His comedy touches upon his immigrant upbringing and aggressively millennial persona. He’s also appeared in a Super Bowl commercial.

Matthew Coe

Matthew is a disabled comedian and writer originally from the Bay Area. He likes to joke about his half-a-heart and his three open-heart-surgeries that paralyzed his vocal cords. He studied neuroscience in college thinking he would be a doctor until he realized he had to look away during countless scenes of Grey’s Anatomy. He has trained and performed at Upright Citizens Brigade, done stand-up in the Laugh After Dark Festival, and was recently selected for the “Best of Fest” show at the Burbank Comedy Festival. He has also performed at the Comedy Store and the Hollywood Improv. Matthew received a wish to go to New York to visit his uncle in 2002. His wish was the 3,000th wish granted by our chapter.
