"We are thrilled to welcome this exceptional group of community leaders to our Board of Directors and look forward to their business expertise and enthusiasm," said Fran Mallace, president and CEO of Make-A-Wish Arizona. "Our current Board of Directors is eager to collaborate with these leaders and have their support as we work together to create life-changing wishes."
Make-A-Wish Arizona's Board of Directors has been instrumental in the chapter's remarkable growth, enabling them to grant 3 to 5 percent more wishes annually over the past five years. With a goal to fulfill 450 wishes this fiscal year, the organization relies on the dedication and passion of its board members.
"Our Board of Directors is an active board, tirelessly reaching out to corporations, organizations, and individuals to expand our reach and impact more children in Arizona," Mallace explained. "With 100 percent of our funds coming from direct donations, we are excited to see how these new board members can help us in our mission to bring hope and joy to even more kids."
Make-A-Wish Arizona is grateful for the ongoing support of its community and is excited to embark on this new chapter with its expanded Board of Directors. Together, they will continue to make dreams come true for children facing critical illnesses.
