What ways are you involved as a volunteer?

I love volunteering my time helping with wishes. I have done several fun events such as the golf tournament, Wish Ball and Walk for Wishes.

How did you first find Make-A-Wish?

I found Make-A-Wish when my friend had told me that she was involved. I was curious and thought it sounded like such a great organization.

How long have you been volunteering with Make-A-Wish MN?

I have been volunteering for approximately 9 years

What has been the most rewarding experience of volunteering with Make-A-Wish?

Seeing kids light up with receiving their wishes. Even just the joy they get from wish boosts that keep them excited for their wish to come.

What advice would you give to new volunteers?

It is such a rewarding experience to help a child and family going through one of the toughest times of their lives and you get to be able to bring the little brightness for hope and strength for them.

What story would you share to inspire others to become a volunteer with Make-A-Wish?

We have such a supportive business community around us and people are so excited to be able to help. Being able to bring a child and their community together makes volunteering with Make-A-Wish such a wonderful feeling.
