Our Chapter
On This Page
Make-A-Wish creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. We seek to bring every eligible child's wish to life because every child deserves a childhood. Research shows children who have wishes granted can build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight their illness.
Make-A-Wish Nevada has been a beacon of hope and joy for children facing critical illnesses since our chapter's founding in 1982. In 1996, the chapter split into two, dedicated to serving the Southern and Northern Nevada regions.
Now, in 2024, we celebrate a new era with the reunification of the Nevada chapter, coming together as one to grant even more life-changing wishes. United, we are stronger, and our impact has been profound - granting over 2,800 wishes to children across the entire state.
As one Nevada chapter we continue to work together with our generous donors, supporters, staff, and more than 20,000 volunteers, Make-A-Wish Nevada and 58 other chapters throughout the U.S. have granted more than 375,000 wishes nationwide.
