Jay and Mike opened their own construction business, Miller LaPoint Construction, in April of 2018. This dynamic duo has built a very successful business that also lends a helping hand to those in need.
In 2022, Make-A-Wish Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana launched a construction and design industry committee called the Builders of Hope. The Builders of Hope was created to help fulfill construction related wishes such as backyard playhouses, playsets, room makeovers, and other quality of life improvements to children's homes. Jay and Mike were quick to join the committee and have since assisted with four construction related wishes. They have also given nearly $60,000 of in-kind and individual support to Make-A-Wish. We are so grateful for their partnership and are excited to see what these two will create next!
